Disneyland

It's a Small World :) One of the cute and adorable rides!
Waiting in line for a photo... it's pretty at night too!
Such a beautiful restaurant! I love the blue ceiling, it makes it look like we are actually sitting outside and having dinner outdoors. The glowing lanterns add a great touch!

Photos from Disneyland/LA

Couldn't have asked for a better first mini-vacation. :)

Gorgeous waves! Why is the water at Santa Monica Pier so much clearer than the ones I've seen here?

 Seagulls, seagulls, seagulls.

I like this one because it looks like a little hut on a dock in the middle of nowhere :)

Florals on Florals

How cute is this little cafe/restaurant?

Florals on florals on florals.

Floral paintings in antique vintage frames over floral wallpapers with a flowery tablecloth on their tables. Also, can't forget the floral tea pots and dishes!

Adorable.

Baked cheese mushroom and shrimp macaroni risotto. Yum! You can't see the mushroom and shrimp underneath the top thick cheesy layer. They also serve it with scallops, oysters, chicken, etc. The risotto dishes come with the option of either macaroni (lumaconi rigati) or rice. The dish was also very creamy/milky, which makes this more of a mac n' cheese style.

Such cute decor. Reminds me of those dainty and charming breakfast and crumpet tea spots with doilies and pastel colors everywhere. Must come back again!

Close up shot of a single water drop dripping in a cup of water. And myself in the background.
Notice the upside-down reflection of the subject in the water!

Michael Jackson-inspired pose in the fog. I really like this one!

Egg Pappardelle Pasta & Avocados

Egg Pappardelle Pasta & Avocados

Experimented with egg pappardelle pasta the other day! Pappardelle is a type of pasta characterized by wide, flat, and slightly thick egg noodles. Similar to wide rice noodles from Asia countries (think Thai's Pad See Ew and Chinese's Chow Fun). Any dish that includes wide rice noodles are my favorite, which is why I tend to order anything with them when I see it on the menu! Pappardelle pasta is very similar, except that it's made with eggs and flour instead of rice flour and water. Personally, I prefer the lather since it has a lighter taste and easier texture. If you've never tried egg pappardelle pasta, it's worth a try!
